Metal roofing across the Shoalhaven

Your home, covered properly.

Metal roofing built for salt air, coastal wind and bushfire country.

Roofs that last

We help you choose the right roof for where you live.

  • Salt air

Near the coast, salt settles on the roof and eats into the steel. Steel graded for your distance from the sea slows that down.

  • Coastal wind

Strong gusts try to lift the sheets, so they need fixing to the manufacturer's pattern for your site's wind rating.

  • Bushfire

Much of the Shoalhaven is bushfire prone. Steel sheeting doesn't burn, and ridges and gutters can be sealed against embers.

  • Heavy rain

Gutters and valleys need to be sized for the roof they drain, or water overflows in a downpour.

Worried about your roof?

Most roof problems start small and out of sight. These are the ones worth catching early.

  • 01Rust

Rust spreads from laps, cut edges and fixings. Once it eats through, water gets into the ceiling below.

  • 02Leaks

A stain on the ceiling is usually the last sign. Water can run along a batten for metres before it shows.

  • 03Loose or rusted screws

Washers perish in the sun and salt. A lifting screw lets water in and lets the sheet move in the wind.

  • 04Blocked gutters and valleys

Leaves hold water against the steel and push it back under the sheets in heavy rain.

  • 05Storm damage

Wind and falling branches lift sheets and bend flashings, often where you can't see from the ground.

The process

What happens when you get in touch

From the first phone call to the finished roof, this is how a job runs.

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Call John or Ethan, or send the details through the website. We'll talk through what's going on with your roof and what you're after.

  2. 2

    Roof inspection

We come out and look at the roof itself: its condition, pitch, structure and access. You can ask questions while we're there.

  3. 3

    Free quote

You get a written quote covering the materials and what the job includes, so you know what you are agreeing to.

  4. 4

    Installation

The old roof comes off where needed, and the new sheeting, flashings and gutters go on.

  5. 5

    Handover

Before we leave, we go over the finished roof with you and answer anything you want to know.
